So, i got my first U during catheterization validation, because i broke sterile technique. It was a really stupid move, and i totally realized i shouldnapos;t have done it, but apparently i didnapos;t realize it confidently enough, because she said since apos;you wouldnapos;t have caught it if i had said somethingapos; i got a U. Itapos;s frustrating, because I feel like I caught it myself, but i just psyched myself out and wasnapos;t confident enough and it looked like i didnapos;t know the procedure. Itapos;s also frustrating, because itapos;s like, man, i could have should have practiced that one more time. But see, i needed to practice with an instructor watching me, and we only had two times to practice in the lab with them, and there are so many people trying to practice, and i never got a chance to have one of them watch me, because there were lines for them to watch other people, so i was like, eeh, i think i got it. And i do know it, i just pscyhed myself out and messed up. Very stupid mistake. Oh well. Iapos;ll just have to practice a few times and do it again. We can have two Uapos;s- the third one is an automatic failure. But i only have one validation left, and i think that i probably wonapos;t make a U in clinical. I hope. Hah. I did everything else fine, which is good, especially since i did catheters first, and i was afraid i might psych myself out even more. But luckily i went from teacher who scares me the most to one who i like the most, so that was good.
anyway... Gonna go shower, get lunch, then study study study all weekend for pharm, pscyh, and foundations tests next week. So exciting. Fall break feels so close, yet so far.
