Iapos;ve been hearing a lot over the past week or so from conservative commentators that McCain should bring back up the whole Rev. Jeremiah Wright thing. This was a MAJOR story... About 6-months ago... Which only mildly tarnished Senator Obamaapos;s character. Itapos;s not like people havenapos;t heard about it, itapos;s not like people have forgotten about it. So I ask these conservative commentators this: if it really didnapos;t hurt Obama when it WAS a big story, what makes you think itapos;s going to hurt him 6 months later? Is the media really going to pick up the story again? I highly doubt it.

And the Bill Ayers thing is just so much bullshit I canapos;t even BEGIN to express my feelings about that silliness.

It seems weapos;ve finally reached that wonderful political playground of assassination by association, where anyone a candidate has ever talked to or sat next to or met with becomes a potential leash to drag that candidate down. And itapos;s not just the McCain camp doing it. Keith Oberman (as well as other liberal commentators) is pulling his own tit-for-tat bullshit on McCain and attempting to destroy his character. Thanks but no thank Keith. I donapos;t care if it is just pointing out the hypocracy. It needs to stop. Because one side does it, then the other side responds in kind, the the first escalates it, then the second escalates it more until weapos;re right back in the toxic divided mess weapos;ve been in for the last 8 years. Iapos;m sick and tired of it and it needs to end.
